Slug Cartoon

And not just domestic animals have people like characteristics, but wild ones? What if a bear was like the absent minded spouse who forgets to do those little things they promised to do?

Bear Cartoon 4880

A bear cliché: "Do they s*** in the woods? What else might they do in the woods?

Who's the most famous bear out there? Smoky. He even has his own zip code. It's true. It's 20252. What would a gag be of him and the one historical character/cliché I haven't introduced yet, the caveman. Naturally, a cartoonist's portrayal of a caveman has little to do with archaeology, but with life as we know it today.

And Finally

Sorry, I've got to go find some pizza or other junk food. If you've tried all the techniques I've mentioned, and still can't come up with lots of funny ideas, don't give up immediately. Like other muscles, the humor muscle takes time and practice to build. If I haven't been drawing for a few weeks, it also takes me a while to get back into the groove. Try making your own lists every day for a week and try coming up with your own ideas, and I'll bet you'll find it gets easier. If it doesn't? Well. At least I won't have to worry about competing with you in the tight cartoon market.
