The Ultimate Cartoon
Cliché?
A desert island. You'd think
by now every desert island joke out there would
have been done, but no. I sell at least one desert
island cartoon a month, so a desert island is near
the top of my list of locations.
List of locations? Yeah, in
addition to lists of buzz words and clichés,
I make lists of locations, lists of professions,
lists of diseases, lists of predicaments, lists of
emotions, lists of props, lists of situations,
lists of lists, etc.
One of my most popular desert
island cartoons ideas happened I was trying to come
up with an idea about a desert island, a musician,
and the phrase, "What luck." Voile.
