Another Martin Hansen Photo Special at the Sumpter Valley RR in Eastern Oregon. Martin sure knows how to pick photogenic operations. The old gold dredge tailings and ponds around Sumpter have created a scenic background for the narrow gauge SVRy. The volunteers and crew members are outstanding, and have done a great deal of restoration and operation work. They are to be commended. The photographer group was almost a carbon copy of last year's McCloud trip.
