Restoration Efforts Worth Investing In
On October 5, 2002, I was fortunate enough to participate in a photo session
at Brooklyn Yard Roundhouse in Portland, OR, home of the famous Southern Pacific
4449, Spokane, Portland and Seattle 700, and the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Co.
No. 197. Also a restored Alco RSD-5, "being restored" Alco FA, Alco PA, restored Northern
Pacific F-7 and many other items of rolling stock either restored or in progress. This is
the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation.
