In the summer of 1998 our granddaughter, Ellie, participated in a youth mission
on the coast of Scotland. She traveled to Florida for orientation and then flew
to London, England. She went by bus north across thebeautiful countryside to
western Scotland. The destination was a 19th century mansion used by Youth With
A Mission as a trainingcenter at Seamill, near West Kilbride on the Firth Of Clyde. |
The project was to restore this historic property by rebuilding
walkways and bridges and painting classrooms. In addition to enjoying the area around Seamill
Ellie went sightseeing in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Upon returning to London she was
able to visit the sights before flying back
to the USA. The picture above shows the building where they did their work.
