CREW REUNIONS 2

In the fall, 1999, we returned to the Johnson farm in Oakland, Nebraska. This has been our unofficial headquarters all these years. El and Jane have been wonderful hosts and this reunion was as enjoyable as ever. All six surviving crew members were present. Ken Erickson made it for the first time which made this one special.

In October, 2000 the crew had planned to attend the reunion of the 90th Bomb Group in Las Vegas, Nevada. For various reasons, including other travel plans and medical problems, only two members and their wives could make it. Gus and Dolores and Del and Betty tried their best to have enough fun for the entire crew.

We had a great opportunity to meet many of the "old airmen" and families. Eating again. What fun!

In September, 2004, we met in Rapid City, South Dakota. We all chose to drive so this helped to ease the driving distances. Some had not seen Mt. Rushmore and this was an added attraction. Also Del's son decided to bring his wife, Lynn, and join us. That turned out to be a help to all the "old folks". Here are some photos taken.
