Pioneer Telephone Cooperative is once again proud to contribute to and encourage individuals throughout our communities by funding a scholarship program. In order to qualify, the applicant must be a Pioneer member, or a spouse, son or daughter of a member and live in Pioneer's serving area.
This sponsorship is one of the most visible examples of the Pioneer’s
involvement with, and commitment to, rural youth. Each year, students
from across the United States go to Washington, D.C. for a four-day, chaperoned
tour of some of the most historical sites in the nation. While there, students also
learn about the telecommunications industry, as well as the regulatory and
legislative processes. Educational sessions on these topics are greatly
enhanced by site visits to the U.S. Capitol and the U.S. Department of
Agriculture, in addition to meetings with industry leaders and members of

Bring your old cell phone into either of our offices and we'll donate (recycle) it to the Cell Phones for Soldiers program. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing deployed and returning troops cost-free methods to communicate with family while serving in the United States military.
